It’s been a few days ….. since our last flight with you ……

National You Matter To Me Day!

Riley and I have had some busy busy weeks recently, but now that things have settled down a bit …… plus I have really missed writing. 

OMG, its Fall …… well it does not feel too much like Fall here in the great state of Texas ….. oh yeah we are so blessed. Temperatures are still in the 90’s, can you believe it ….. but don’t get me wrong …… I am so ready for some Fall!

Fall weather, Fall food, Fall decorating, Fall organizing, Fall clothes, oh my the list goes on and on and on and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Did you know that today is National You Matter To Me Day!

And for me and Riley, it holds a very special meaning. We are so thankful, grateful and blessed to have a fabulous family. We may be miles apart but we are always a part of something wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. No Matter What ❤️

So yeah, our family is just the right mix of Chaos and Love!

And this day gets me thinking, just how much I love to write and share some of my favorite things with y’all.

Maybe it’s because it gives me the opportunity to tell my family just how much they matter to me! 

Maybe it’s because it gives me memories to treasure and keep!

Maybe it’s because things can change in a blink of an eye and I want to send love and kindness to those I love so much!

Maybe it’s because those that are gone from my sight, are really never gone from my heart!

So yeah, sometimes you have to stop and remind yourself how magical, wonderful and blessed life is. 

Tell someone, no tell everyone just how much they matter to you!

I feel so blessed to have some very kind and loving people who I call my dear friends ….. oh yeah, you know who you are!

A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you forget the words. 

A friend is someone who makes the good times better and the hard times easier.

A friend is better than a therapist because you can drink with them!?

A friend is someone you can do anything with and nothing with and still have the best time.

A true friend will see the pain in your eyes while everyone else believes the smile on your face.

A true friend warms and refreshes your soul.❤️

So to my sweet wonderful family and dear dear friends ……..  you are the sunshine in my heart, soul and life!
