Of course it is Monday …. Wake up, Get Up and Spread Kindness!

Of course Life is not predictable nor does it come wrapped in a beautiful turquoise box and white ribbon ……. well at least for many of us!

So what to do ……

Well of course I day-dream …… everyone does! I remember growing up with a very different belief system than I currently have …… It’s called Life and as I go through the many acts of my life, my belief system changes, some may say it matures some may say it’s like a rebirth.

Well I think it’s both.

As much as I have grown and changed throughout my life, there is one piece of advice that my mother instilled in me and remains deep in my soul ………KINDNESS

And you know what? It costs absolutely Zero to be a decent person.

If you are a leader in an organization ……. Lead yourself …… Meet your own expectations! Is complacency your corporate culture …… Leadership is not a position or title, it is action and example.

If you are a mom – Your greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do but someone you raised.

If you are a daughter – Little girls with dreams become women with vision. Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone.

If you are a partner/spouse – Make the love of your life laugh a little, cry a little less and smile a whole lot more. Be with someone who always wants to know how your day was.

If you are a father – Remember that your children will follow your example instead of your advice. Fatherhood requires Love, not DNA.

If you are a son – Manners matter, good looks are a bonus and humor is a must. You are what you do, not what you say you will do.
