Heck yay, our lights are on. Shining bright, for sure.
My little Riley is convalescing nicely.
It’s been only a little over 24 hours and I do miss the sparkle in his eyes but he is one strong little Scottie.
And truth be told, I love having him sleeping in bed with me again. Because I know in a few weeks, Mr. Independent will be back giving me that side-eye look when I baby him. Ha!
Oh, he knows …… he is so loved.
And that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it.

There is a bright light in our house because of him. There is love in my heart because of him. And as far as I am concerned, everyone needs a ‘Riley’ in their home.
A big one or a little one.
A pure breed or not …… they will change your life.
We’ve been together for almost nine years. We have done and seen a lot together.
Vacationed together, moved from one city to another together, traveled by plane together and we not stopping any time soon!
So yeah, whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend, never owned a ‘Riley’.  Go get one stat!
