Pluviophile Sunday
From a pattering of drops to a pelting and then to a torrential that sends Riley straight to his cocoon.
You know, that driving rain with wind that sends you to take cover inside.
Because the ‘dog days’ of summer have arrived and getting rain in July, well let’s just say, is definitely a blessing.
The earth around us needed a little cooling off.
🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️
Oh my plants and flowers are so happy!
🪴 🌺 🪴
Why no, brunch is not canceled – just delayed!
Watching and listening to the rain, coffee cup in hand on a Sunday morning; priceless!
Our morning has been awaken and washed clean.
Some may get ‘too busy’ and not take time to let the beauty of nature around us just soak in to our bones.
Oh, but thankfully, retirement comes with owning certain rituals that are non-negotiable!
🧘🏻♀️
So do not let your mind be too busy or your heart too heavy.
We were created for Joy. We were created to Dance. We were created to Smile. We were created to Love.
As I walk outside to our little backyard after the rain, there is pleasure, deep in my being.
The universe has a way of blessing me.
➕
I will never give up being happy. Life is too precious.
What ever your age ….. Dance.
Never stop dancing!
Blessings from our home to yours.
Namasté.
Dear God, Thank you for this beautiful life. May I never forget to live out loud and cherish every breath and every moment. May I never take for granted what it means to be alive and never never take this gift you have given for granted. Amen.
