Frosty Friday
The blizzard has not hit us yet but let’s say we are definitely feeling the warning signs today.

The sun is out and that is always a good thing in winter. We will definitely be taking our walk a little later as the temps climb a smidge.
Thank goodness we spent yesterday afternoon getting prepared. I must say, I was totally exhausted last night. Moving plants (even with a dolly), covering plants and outdoor furniture, and grocery shopping, whew …… well, I am as prepared as I can be!
The latest winter weather predictions include snow mix and sleet for Sunday/Monday, and I am hoping for just snow if anything for our area. The cold temps are enough.
The city is preparing their shelters and the roads, but don’t forget to check on friends, family and neighbors this weekend.
And they advise stay in if you are able.
Sound advice!
This morning Riley stepped outside a few steps and stared back at me. ‘Yep, that’s the wind baby’, so I stepped outside with him. Oh it most definitely woke us up!
So today is a good day for a little house cleaning in anticipation for lots of TV time this weekend.
Because with the bitterly cold weather in sight, our walks with be temporary on hold.
