Say it isn’t So, Saturday!

Say it isn’t So, Saturday!
Wait, what is that I see …… lightning in August.
Eddie and I were outside around 3am and I had to rub my eyes a few times as I saw flashes of lightning behind the clouds and I immediately thought, is that just heat thunder about to hit, and yeah that’s a thing!
Anyhoo, after Eddie finished up we heard a big clap of thunder and we both jumped. We were quickly back inside and I immediately looked at the weather app. I guess not watching any news and weather for a few days paid off. Rain was about to fall.
So next, out to the garage to turn off the sprinklers since Saturday is my day to water, no need!
It didn’t rain long but long enough and such a nice treat, for sure.
And we were both back asleep before it stopped.
Now this is the way to start the first weekend in August …… because 100’s for the upcoming week is about to remind us …… it’s summertime in Texas.
I must say this week is wrapping up nicely!
A new pool at my sister’s place made us feel like we were at a resort. Oh what fun to be had for the next month and maybe beyond. We be getting dark-er!
Now if we can figure out how to get a cabana boy at our ‘beck & call’ on pool days. But then again, we have been known to fill up our Yeti’s with a nice alcoholic beverage from time to time!
Seems like I never run out of ideas, thankfully.
Well at least when it comes to food and drinks, Ha!

A nice simple breakfast watching Eddie play while listening to music. A few chapters in my Bible to be read while I enjoy a second cup of joe is most definitely happening.
The truth is not a buzz-kill people, it will set you free! It provides peace and comfort.
I love reading the truth. I want to be faithful and trustworthy.
Hey, we all can fall off the path from time to time. We want to call all the shots, set up our own boundaries and believe that restraint is boredom.
Been there, done that ……
Until the only calling I hear is God.
I want my life song to be that worthy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He’s given me this wonderful life and will be with me for my eternal life.
Now c’mon how can I not be overjoyed.

Say it isn’t So, Saturday!
Soon I will pick up the swiffer and get some house cleaning done but the music is not stopping. And yes, Eddie gives me that look from time to time as I dance with swiffer in hand singing rather loudly!
Now some may think a swiffer in hand and some house cleaning is nothing to be excited about, but this girl is not like anyone else! The wildfire continues to burn inside of me because I know how much I have to be thankful for.
So this Saturday is another one that will not be forgotten.
I will live out loud, be courageous and boldly live out my faith no matter what others may say.
Boom!
Say it isn’t So, Saturday!
