Sing the Song of Your Heart!
I know it’s gonna be a great day when I decided to watch some of the Olympic games during the day and not make any plans.
Wait what, a nesting day in the middle of summer, yep and it feels so good.
Besides yesterday was quite a busy day around here and Eddie definitely did not get his usual siesta time. And since our mornings start fairly early, this growing boy needs his naps!
So yeah, watching some of the Olympics today has been fun although intense at times.
It is unbelievable and so admirable what these athletes do.

Of course I did do a smidge of reorganizing and housework early this morning. My energy level remains high so maybe there is something to:
‘Going to bed early and waking up early’.
Blame it on ‘the Eddie’, it’s the ‘Eddie factor’.
Eddie Eddie Eddie, the song of my heart!
The uniqueness and appreciation to sing the song of my heart, especially on a perfect summer nesting day while Eddie sleeps nearby.
I will carry today’s theme through the evening and all of a sudden a little cocktail or two sounds especially yummy to put in our memory book!
And since the hot hot days of Texas summers will be around for a while I see some pool days, and even more nesting days in our future.

Now is the perfect time to be happy.
The secret pin …… prayers.
Because there are times that bring out the survivor in me and times that bring out the softness in me.
And I know it’s okay to be happy in my calm life …… and an Eddie!
So as the day soon will turn into evening, it’s time to mix that cocktail and enjoy some more Olympics!
