Happy New Year, 2025!

As I welcome a new year with my BFF, Eddie, we say goodbye to 2024. Some moments/memories of 2024 I’d like to kick way way back, Ha!
And over the past few weeks in anticipation for starting a new year;  a new home and most definitely a new and restored faith in my life that I am forever grateful to God.

I will continue getting stronger and more confident because this is the beginning of a better and brighter future!

Our new home is already filled with the things that really matter. And as we move into the new year, I am more than ever ready to continue to celebrate our life with what and who matters. (And less of the things that don’t).
Oh on paper it might sound like a harsh statement considering I am celebrating the new year, but oh no …… the forecast for our future is definitely worth a hallelujah! Actually a few hallelujahs!!
And filled with more determination, optimism and love to what belongs in our life.
A rebirth marks the dwelling of the Holy Spirit who guides, teaches and above all empowers.
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19.

I always like watching New Year celebrations on TV. I am sure I will be getting some grunts from Eddie since it will be way past his bedtime. It’s our first of many more to come!
So as we usher in the new year, I remain dedicated to spending time in prayer and committed to seeking His direction for my life.
As I reflect on this new beginning, it brings a smile to my face and heart and reminds me just how full circle life is.
The love I am feeling leaps from deep in my soul knowing who is always with me!

So as we close the door to 2024; I open my door, my home, my life and I surrender to Jesus Christ and ask Him to continue to lead me on the straight and lighted pathway for our life’s journey.
