Thankful Tuesday!
So many reasons to give thanks ……
Last night’s storms came in full force with record high winds all around us. No damage here but I decided to turn on the news this morning to catch up.
Love Springtime, hate the storms.

I had Eddie sleep with me last night knowing that it would be a noisy night. He and I both could hear the wind and rain but slept through it.
My heart jumped a beat this morning when he put his little paw on my back to wake me up. (The spirit of Riley is with us)
And let me say, the rain must have made us both feel like staying in bed because he woke me up  much later than normal. For our first walk, the sun was already shining with no clouds in sight, oh my, so so beautiful!

So yeah, it’s pretty wet and sassy windy today so I will hang on tight to my little boy when we venture out for our walks but thankful the rain is done, for a few days anyway, yay!
You know even in happy times my faith in God never ceases. I can truly say, I don’t know why things happen but my faith in God never stops.
I know that it is a true blessing waking up to see another sunrise and experience another beautiful day with Eddie by my side.

My younger days I spent so much time and energy on the ‘hustle’ of life. I am so so thankful that  now in my ‘older’ years I get to enjoy the simple, small, slow pace of life.
There are moments especially every morning and right before the end of the night that are special, private and time spent with my Savior.

So yeah, Spring is in the air …… no wait that’s pollen. 🤧
Oh the irony of Spring!
But my spring cleaning fairies will not be deterred!
Because the days of flowers, frozen drinks and flip flops will be here soon. And dare I say …… pool time! The pool looked so good all winter long and now that the water will be warming up, it makes me want to skip over and start the swim season aka – good times and tan lines all around season! WhooHoo!
