Thursday Evening Post
Something about ending the day with my little Eddie sleeping next to me on the sofa ……beyond words!
We had plenty of play time inside today and then he got a nice warm shower tonight. After the zoomies and a couple of carrots, my little angel is totally relaxed,
well, me too.
Music playing, candles lit and a glass of Cabernet and as the day turns into nite there is such delight in my soul.  You know when you draw near to God; He will draw near to you.
Let him rule in your heart and witness his glory.
The more of Him in me, the more things just don’t disrupt my peace. There is a quiet confidence that provides my strength.
I stand in awe of Him.

These summer evenings have been truly magical.
And knowing that in just (oh so soon) our nites will be even more magical as Eddie and I start our new chapter.
It’s so exciting and I can’t wait!

There is nothing better than knowing that Eddie is safe, secure and happy. He continues to be my best friend and my heart leaps with joy and love for him.
We have developed our routines and we are so in sync.
Why yes, this afternoon we both took a nap!
Of course Eddie naps quite a bit, but lately if I do not take one, I miss it.
Give me 45 minutes, sometimes an hour then a cup of afternoon coffee …… yep retirement mode is here for good!
When I look back at my accomplishments – the two near to my heart are: providing Riley a good and happy home with all my love and now providing Eddie with all my love and a happy home too!
Having family move to Texas near me is obviously right up there.
I never wanted to leave Texas so having family move here has made life full of fun, joy and love!

Did you know that night hides the world but reveals the universe.
Oh yes, nights do speak. It’s in the night that we find who we really are.
The day is done. Let the night bring music and peace and wash away worries.
There is charm and beauty on a summer night that is hard to describe. So I just let it be!
And I listen as the day whispers to the evening.
And I let the evening wrap around me like my favorite blanket and then listen to the whispers of the stars!
