Monday Morning Glory

Monday Morning Glory!

Well, we did it. We moved to our new home last Thursday!
And completely unpacked from all the ‘way too many’ boxes by Friday nite.
My body is sore but so worth it.
I even spent yesterday, mopping the floors, vacuuming, dusting (achoo) from all that moving dust. And yes, even hung a few pictures.
My storage unit on the balcony needs some organizing and that will happen soon. But the balcony is so wonderful and already set up for morning coffee time.
TBT, I’ve been a little too tired to sit out there in the evenings but have taken a few moments to enjoy the skyline.
We’re up two more floors to the top and I thought it was pretty quiet before ……
I cannot express how much I love this place.
So much green grass and manicured surroundings. Eddie has adapted so well. The elevator didn’t seem to faze him. Yep, we have elevators, air condition hallways and really so much modern conveniences. He has barked a few times at ppl but not nearly as much as I thought he would. I  dunno, maybe it’s just our new environment and he feels at home too. I can tell him no and he stops.
One new habit, after our last walk of the evening, we stop by our lounge and kitchen in the main building and get a cup of hot chocolate. Did I say, I love this place!
I hung my drapes the week before and even bought groceries so our pantry would be stocked upon our move in day.
Boom!
So what’s next ……
I have more pictures to hang and that’s it!
I can’t wait to explore the new neighborhood that has several restaurants and shops in our village.
And luckily for us, summertime heat will be here for a while so pool time is not over yet …… wait, it’s a heated pool! Oh my, swimming time never ends, well maybe when it’s freezing outside and then I must settle for the jacuzzi!
So much to explore and enjoy and I will!
Joy doesn’t have to be loud …… mine is a quiet sunrise with coffee in hand and Eddie by my side.
Have a blessed day.
Monday Morning glory …… all day and night long!
Namasté.
Dear God,  Thank you for the gift of life and allowing me to see another day. My heart is filled with gratitude. You are my refuge and my strength. Amen.
