Friday Gratia
Wow, what a fantastic morning! 
It all started yesterday early evening, thanks to a thunderstorm that brought cooler temps. What a way to say goodbye to August and welcome home September! 
Me likey. 
We sat outside on the balcony for some of the rain last night. 
Loved it.

And this morning, after a nice cool walk, we were back outside, coffee cup in hand and Eddie chilling nearby. 
Did I mention …… I love our new home. 
Yesterday was a swim day after several trips to the park. And nothing like rounding out the afternoon with a little nap. 
I was on the sofa and I sorta kinda think, Eddie might have slept on our bed. I heard his pitter  patter going into the bedroom. 
Since there is a bench at the foot of the bed, he can jump onto, I wouldn’t be surprised. That little spoiled boy can sleep wherever he wants. 
😉 
But the night ended so nicely after our final walk and the air with a touch of chill. Oh so nice! 
I am so looking forward to Fall. 
Cooler temps, Fall colors, Football and most definitely Fall food. I guess you can say, I already have the hot cocoa trigger pulled! 
So excited to watch a little football this weekend. And even though it might be a little rainy for us, nothing will dampen my spirits.

And I thought I decorated early for the new seasons. I will wait till after the Labor Day holiday this weekend but I already received some pics from a friend who has pumpkins and ghords popping up in her home. Oh my!

I missed out last year with Fall decorating since we were moving but I am all in this year. 
Football; College and the NFL are two of my favorite things. 
The past two years I stepped away from watching many of the games.  First year was because my dear sweet Riley was sick and then last year because of our move and Eddie still being a puppy. 
Well I have a lot to catch up. I don’t know half the players but that has not deterred my excitement for the season!

I have already started looking up some new Fall recipes. 
New home, New life, New Experiences – New Everything! 
It’s cloudy and cooler this morning and TBT, I hope the clouds do hang out all weekend long. It only helps make the weekend feel even closer to the new season. I know many want the sunshine back to end the summer so either way, sunshine or rain you will find me here with a smile on my face, a giddy-up in my step (which BTW I do get a lot of steps in each day) and love and gratitude in heart. 
So however you spend this last weekend of August, let’s welcome home September and give thanks to the One who makes it all possible.
