Nothing like a Saturday Boo Brunch to kickstart the weekend!
Oh my, so much yummy food.
We have such a wonderful group of people in our community; great cooks sharing some great dishes. Lots of laughs and chatter all around.
And of course some were in costume and very creative too!
Surrounded by a loving caring group of women –  says it all.

Back home to take Eddie for a walk before the rain returned. And it was a pleasant rain, at least in our area. A little thunder and lightning but Eddie barely lifted his head from his afternoon siesta.  A Saturday afternoon cup of coffee watching the rain cleanse the air …… it’s magical.
Yeah, definitely a ‘pinch me’ kind of afternoon.
Oh the sanctity of Home.
No matter what happens or where I have been – returning home is the best. It goes way beyond interior design. It’s a calming and peaceful environment. And yeah, somedays the music is on ‘blast and repeat’. And you can bet I enjoy a full range of genres. Music brings out so many of my senses. Growing up we had music playing in our home quite a bit.
And now …… there aren’t many days when music is not playing at some point in our home.

And just like that the sunshine came back.
The amazing grace of God.
With each rain drop – let us be reminded of Your power to cleanse and rejuvenate.
And as I see the sunshine  –  it brings a spiritual awakening that brings restoration, joy and freedom.
So as the day turns to evening –  it’s not over yet!
Watching the sunset and trusting God with the night.
