Good morning y’all!
Do you ever have one of those days when you think………you are the luckiest girl in the whole world? Well, that happen to me today…….and you know why…..
No, I did not just win the Lotto (although that would be cool!), No, it’s not that it is a bright sunny warm October day here in Texas (although who can complain!) No, it’s not that I just won trip to Hawaii (although I have been lucky to have gone to Maui once and fell in love!), No, it’s not that I woke up ten pounds lighter (what can I say, I love me some Pumpkin Bread!)
I woke up today (of course with my little co-pilot, Riley the Scottie next to me), knowing that I have a family who loves me (and I love them), I woke up today knowing that my friends have been there for me through all of life’s challenges (sometimes with advice, sometimes just to listen), I woke up today knowing that life will continue to be an adventure (to exciting and maybe sometimes scary destinations), I woke up today knowing that this life has been a true blessing (seen a lot, done a lot and want to do more). I count my blessings every day!
So yes, this morning I will be doing my happy dance in front of the mirror and you know what , I think I am getting better and better at dancing….well at least Riley thinks so, Ha!! (well sometimes he does prefer to be in the other room). But you know what…….when he hears me turn the music on…….he knows……oh yeah………he knows……we are going to have a great day!
So yes………..I woke up today feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. I have family, friends and of course Riley always by my side, always in my heart, always in my soul. And you know what…….I can accomplish anything……..yes I can…………I am the luckiest girl in the world! So go turn your music on, dance a little (or a lot) and tell yourself you are the luckiest girl in the world. Count your blessings……..every day!

Riley recently celebrated his 1st Birthday so I wanted to share some pic’s. (I don’t think he was too crazy about the bow tie and hat……but he loved his birthday cake and so did his best friend Trigger!)
