For 62 years in your presence.

Hurray, I am a year older on this glorious day!

Another day, another year to enjoy this beautiful earth You created for mankind.

I pray for many many more in good health and sound mind to love and praise Your name.

I give thanks to all the wonders and seasons of my life.

Lord, you have been good to me all these years and I thank you for all the blessings I have received but especially for life itself. I ask that You constantly watch over me on this special day and keep me healthy all the days of my time here on earth.

I need You.

I look for your strength when I stand, your comfort when I am discouraged, your hand when I fall and your peace always in my heart.

For through wisdom your days will be many and years will be added to your life. (Proverbs 9:11)

Dear Lord, I pray that you continue to draw me near to your presence and fill my days with happiness and Your amazing grace. Bless me with the strength and determination to always put my faith in You, regardless of the situation I find myself in. You are the reason I am alive, You are the reason I have joy in my heart.

 On this remarkable day, I thank you Lord for giving me the air I breathe, I thank you for giving my body and bones the strength they need to function properly, I thank you for my family and true friends that surround my life, and I thank you for my furry bundle of love, Riley.

So yeah,

I am a year older today! And I know that this unique way that I get to say happy birthday to myself is a blessing. And I know that God’s light will shine in my life and guide my path for as long as I live on this earth.

 Dear God, from the bottom of my heart to the depths of my soul, I can’t thank you enough for this priceless gift of life that you have blessed me with.

I pray that you will continue to love and bless me for as long as I live.
