Bosa Nova Monday! 
Oh it’s a gorgeous day for a little dancing. 
We will experience some colder temps real soon but the last couple of days and today are way way better than a lot of December days. 
And yes, shorts and tank tops have been the OOTD, a little balcony time …… and oh my, it’s definitely got ppl, thinking of Spring time. 
A little sweeping 🧹🧹🧹
and what’s that I see …… new plants on the balconies and patios. 
No not me yet, even if they are artificial, I see many more winter days ahead and maybe a little onesie and blanket time although,  it’s nice to see! 
Our new nest is coming along nicely and I am very pleased. 
Eddie still has his own ‘not so little’ townhouse but has been sleeping with me each night and that makes us both happy. 
He doesn’t seem to be such a bed hog, like Mr. Riley was. Nope, Eddie prefers to sleep towards the foot of the bed, touching me but not making me contort around him. Bonus! 
Downsizing has done so much for my soul. 
Oh I am not a minimalist but when you have limited space, you keep what’s meaningful. 
I don’t regret buying and then get rid of so much, it has brought me to where I am. 
Do I miss our old home. 
No. 
It kept us safe and protected for sure, but when you have rooms that no longer serve you and you become a slave to them for the sake of keeping them up and decorated …… well a change was most definitely needed. 
A smaller space has so many benefits.  Much less to keep up with, less money spent on decor and pillows. I most certainly was out of hand with my pillow consumption. Whew, glad that is over! My morning prayer time has taken on a whole new dimension. And our morning walks are so much more enjoyable. 
Slow morning coffee time with music playing is back! 
I switched from Bosa Nova to Jazz so E can enjoy his morning ‘coma’ I mean nap time. 😉
So yeah, I am grateful we got to share a beautiful house and make it our own, but this girl is not looking back …… too much love in the atmosphere as we will be enjoying the here and now. 
Funny how shedding the extra baggage brings so much joy to my heart and resonates with my soul. 
Our home is smaller, our love is bigger and we are more comfortable and delighted. 
So today is Bosa Nova Monday, with some smooth Jazz mixed in! 
The sun is shining, the temps are getting warmer and the sanctification has taken over! 
So pick up the magnifying glass and take a closer look …… we all have gunk and mud that resides in our heart. (thoughts, people and things) 
I’m removing them and planting healthy soil and sprinkling new seeds that will bloom and spread love to our family. 
It’s a glorious day, rejoice in it!
