Renewing the Mind. 
God wants to renew our mind with His truth. Which frees us from negative thoughts and habits.

With so much going on in our world, heck even in our own states and towns it can be quite overwhelming. It’s been many many years since I have gone on so many early walks in January …… and it’s been so refreshing for my soul. 
Sure it’s cold and very icy this week so we go slow and breathe in the crispness of the winter air. Even last night as we went out right by our door there was already a layer of ice on top of the snow. Eddie walked right on top of it. Me, well I did sink a smidge.
 Many of the snowmen are still standing tall today but the sun is out and soon they will be gone. Some of them were quite impressive. 
Last night as we cuddle on the sofa watching the Longhorns game, Eddie was definitely keeping me warm. Sometimes a little hot! 
Well the Longhorns lost but it was a good game. They have been so fun to watch this year but yeah it’s a crushing loss.

Already mid January! 
 I am enjoying our wintering season. 
Everyday I tell Eddie what an exceptional Scottie he is. We have many hours of playtime and he still naps but not as much during the day. I tend to keep moving, so that’s probably why. Come evening time and he sleeps more as I watch TV and it’s perfect! 
We are in sync. 
He has quite a big personality. 
Still very stubborn but sweet as ever. 
My little shadow and perfect guardian angel.

My heart was broken when Riley left this earth. And God blessed me with Eddie. 
I look at him and see his soul. 
And I know he knows I will always take care of him. 
My sweet little Eddie! 
So as I do a little house keeping while the music is filling up our home;  the blinds are up and the sunlight shines through the windows, we have nothing but love in our heart. 
Renewing my Mind, all day long!
