What a glorious day!
Sweater weather for our first walk in the mornings are here, yippee. Once back inside, coffee in hand and some cosy slippers for balcony time.
It’s a pinch me kind of day.
A yummy breakfast, a little fetch time at the park, some more walking around the neighborhood and yes …… pool time!
Oh September, you are starting off right. Sure a couple of hot days but cooler temps are coming and I am excited about it.
If the morning temps give us an insight to what’s on the way …… oh my …… finally we will be able to open up some windows! Oh yes, Fall air, you are welcome to our home!
And unless you live under a rock ……
Tonight kicks off the NFL season, whaaahoooo!

I always have looked at efforts. Not necessarily words …… funny coming from me but so true. Effort shows one’s position in life, not words, promises or even intentions. It’s effort!
Does not mean, I have every single second of my day planned out. In fact as I’ve gotten old (er), I don’t actually plan my days. Sure, some days must be planned with appointments, etc., but mostly I am so grateful that I can set my efforts each new day!
And you can bet that if I say I will do something, I do it.

Can you believe it, Fall is here!
Well, maybe not officially but most of us are feeling it!
And there is no going back.
Our swim time is probably here for a long while, oh the joys of a heated pool!
I dipped my toes in the jacuzzi the other day but it’s still just a little too hot for me for that, but soon!
Which reminds me, I need to order a new robe, dang it, I almost ordered my fav from Pottery Barn last year after Christmas during their sale, but I gotta get one soon.
Just sooooooo much to look forward to and be ever so grateful now!
I get to choose who I am daily and that is one of the most magnificent blessings of life.
So yeah, our home is Fall and Football ready.
I pulled out my Cowboys stuff and of course my favorite fall blanket is so purdy!

Music continues to fill our home and Eddie has gotten use to it. He even sleeps through it, although sometimes it’s pretty loud but I look over at him and he is sound asleep. Probably dreaming of quietness, Ha!
Well I may get a little loud tonight during the game. Or worse case, drown my sorrows in wine!
Either way, I am ready for football season. It’s a long one, so I never get discouraged early.
We’ll do a pulse check-in, in a couple months and see just where I stand. 😉
