Taste and See, God is Good.

It’s Sunday and a glorious one, for sure!
Our day started at 6:20 am and is only getting better!
My little Eddie slept out on the sofa last night. Usually he sleeps in bed with me. After our last walk of the evening he was so comfy and I thought ‘why not’. Let’s see how he does. He gave me the heads up and flopped right back down when I said I was going to bed so rather than picking him up and carrying him to bed, I kissed him good night and left him in the living room.
I wasn’t sure if he might hear a strange noise and wake me up at some point but he didn’t.
My little boy is growing up!
After breakfast and a little play time inside and soon we are at the dog park. As I sit and watch him run around, the sun is shining, me under a tree and Eddie chasing his ball and the squirrels.
Oh my, the amazing blessings of God.
As I sit there in awe of the day, I know that I am in a constant state of seeing hope. And that no matter what I have been through in life, Jesus has never left my side.
We all experience storms in life. I hope I never forget them.
I know because of them, the fire inside of me will never get distinguished.
It’s never luck ……
It’s always God.

So as this Sunday continues on;  a little football time, a lotta snacks and drinks and most definitely more time with my Eddie!
