The Eddie Report.
Is this one smart little Scottie …… Oh Eddie!
So much in a week ……
Basic commands of sit, lay down and shake – well done, Eddie.
Of course we must do training on the carpet because the muscles are still not quite able to keep Eddie from slipping on the floors. But, whatever, this is one perfect little boy.
We will practice daily!
Seems like 5 am is his wake-up time (which is fine by me) for his first morning potty break. And once back in, I manage to get another hour or so of sleep until we get up for good @6 am. I can hear him chewing on his toys in his crate but is content letting me sleep for a bit more.
It’s kinda funny that even for our 5am wake up call, he turns to ring the bell before we go outside.
Such a good Eddie!
And I’ve decided on days when I need an afternoon nap, I can put him in his crate and he is okay with it. Doesn’t make a peep!
Now his tiny bladder keeps us going outside quite a bit but with No accidents in the house, I am quite impressed and thankful!
Sleeping is still his favorite activity which gives me time to do housework while the music plays.
But not before we shared a dance today.
His eyes get so big when he can see things that are higher than a foot above the floor.
A whole different world of shining objects!
While I was rearranging things in a different room that is blocked off to Eddie, I got a little nervous this morning when no sounds were coming from the family room.
I needn’t worry, little Eddie was laying down waiting for me.
But my antenna is always on ‘alert’, Ha!
He had another vaccine this week which pretty much made him sleep all day. He was a little tender but after a few hours back home he ate and continued sleeping. By the next day, he was totally back to himself.
Hey, he is only 8.2 lbs.
And after my vaccinations, I am a little tender too. And I weigh ……
more than 8 lbs, teehee!
So life with my Eddie is a gift and full of joy.
We wish you a wonderful Wednesday!
