When God is on our side, there is no need for despair.
Oh I know, that I question things many times and wonder why is this happening. I pray continuously and despite what religion or spiritual practice we choose, I know that through my time spent talking to Jesus,  my ‘never giving up’ strength is found and fortified.
I also know that salvation is not earned by good deeds or human effort.
It is a gift of grace from God , accessible in faith through Jesus Christ.
There are two things that will remain consistent in my life; reading and studying the bible so that I can learn and understand how it applies to my life and communicate with God to strengthen my relationship with Him.

We woke up at our usual early time and so happy the light rain from yesterday gave our trees and landscaping a nice healthy drink.
I know for many, this cloudy day may not be what they wanted to celebrate Labor Day, but it is a perfect day for Eddie and me. Definitely a two-cupper morning sitting by the windows. Some people out walking but it’s mostly quiet in the neighborhood.
Eddie has started his morning siesta after a few rounds of fetch.
As I look around, I am in awe of this beautiful place we get to call home.
So whether you are hosting a cookout, spending time at the lake or just hanging out at home for a much needed break, (spa-day at home anyone 🛀),
Eddie and I wish you a happy, healthy and safe Labor Day, 2024.
