Each year, I say the same thing, ‘ I can’t believe my little boy is turning a year older’. It’s the big 7 this time!
And yet, it feels like he has been my co-pilot for a lifetime.
Well …… we have done and seen a whole lot together, woof woof!
And, God willing, it’s not stopping anytime soon.
It’s quite amazing how we share the same rhythm. And no, I am not running around chasing the squirrels in the backyard, but I do enjoy watching Riley do it. He never gives up, that’s for sure.

I laughed to myself when I see the many different personalities that comes out of this little furry boy. There is such a kind gentleness in his eyes that communicates without making a sound. But; he is a Scotty after all …… so he knows how to practice his (ahem), sorta kinda loud verbal communications skills at times.  Which still makes me wonder,  how something so small can sound so BIG,
oh yeah …… he is a SCOTTY!
