A partial lunar eclipse and Thanksgiving day just around the corner, oh my!
It’s time to untangle my Christmas lights.
Yep, I am one of those people who breaks out the Christmas decor right about now. And here in Texas, I have decorated our home in shorts and a tank top to cozy sweats and furry socks with a fire glowing. Makes no difference to me because pinecones and glitter …… resonate in my soul.
Do you see what I see
Because the way I see it ……
there is nothing wrong about breaking out the Christmas decor early. I start in stages and little by little, there is magic all around!
Besides who says you can’t enjoy turkey, dressing and the smells of Thanksgiving filling up the house; all while watching some football with the sparkles of Christmas in the background.
Not me!
It never takes away from acknowledging Thanksgiving day. It actually allows me to focus, center and reflect. There is increased happiness through this season that serves as a way for me to connect with those who are no longer with us.
For me, there is nothing but positives as I start putting up my festive decorations.
Oh what fun being an adult and listening to the rhythm of my soul.
Now what box has my glitter and tinsel ……
Because I will not suppress the extra helping of happiness this year.
