Don’t get your Tinsel in a Tangle, Tuesday

Oh the winter blast is about to hit us, (many are already in it) and the countdown to Christmas is on!
So as we begin to prepare for some of our coldest days, I am reminded to continue to give thanks to God and focus on the most wonderful gift he gave us.

No other birth has impacted the world more; almost 2000 years ago.
Oh yes, Heaven and Nature is singing!
And for us, the sun came out today which made our walk so refreshing. Chilly, but just breathing in the fresh air and seeing my happy little Riley keeps my heart warm.
And for many the last minute errands can be overwhelming. The plethora of things that we may want to do can be crippling for our spirit if you get caught up in the noises of the world.
Of course most of us have traditions new and old that we want to celebrate and capture the charm of this season, and we should. Just remember, it’s okay to give yourself a break.
It might sound selfish, but be true to yourself. Make a list of things and decide if they are truly needed. You know prioritize and make smart choices! And a biggie for me is to manage expectations …… which goes hand in hand with being true to yourself. The holidays if you let it, can lay an extra burden on our shoulders and well for me, (still nursing one of mine) haha, that can remove the spirit of the season. Sometimes a simple celebration with family is the perfect way to truly celebrate the truest meaning of Christmas day!

Because the Christmas tree and Santa will be gone soon but the gift of Jesus and his love never ends.
So as we prepare our home for Christmas and cold weather be safe, be kind and be the light! Namasté

Co-pilot, Riley
