Faithfully Friday, y’all ….. all day long!
Faith and spirituality plays an important role in my own well-being. It’s not just a Sunday activity for me. It’s a thread through every aspect of my life that makes life better—whether I attend church service or not.
I open my door everyday for Jesus.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me, (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus knocks on the door to our heart. He will not force his way in and he is most definitely not here to condemn. He comes for a relationship. Yet, we are still given a choice: even if we hear His voice, He leaves it up to us whether to open the door and invite Him in.
I accept Him as Lord and Savior of my life. There is no ‘I’ll think about it later’ option. I have made the choice. And nope, not just on Sundays. It is my personal journey and fills me with overwhelming joy, peace and hope.
Hope is the strong anchor for my soul. Life is not just about living, life is worth living. He sustains me.
Is life always fair …… HA!
I imagine my life for many many more years to come; full of love, joy, peace and good health. Will it be easy …… Only through His grace. Oh yeah, the world tries to take your joy and peace away with every unwanted circumstance, every unexpected tragedy, and every unforeseen pitfall. The enemy does not fight fair.
So what do I do,
Never give up.
No weapon formed against me will prosper, (Isaiah 54:17)
Scars are remembrance that I have overcome.
Even Jesus had scars. They are proof he died and came back to life.
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses, (1 Timothy 6:12)
Oh yes, my faith runs deep. God has made it possible for me to know Him and experience an amazing change in my own life. I have found peace with God.
It’s Faithfully Friday!
Blessings from our home to yours.
