FaLa La, LaLaLaLa Friday, December 22

Fa lala, lalalala Friday, December 22.

Oh my, the last Friday before Christmas day. As the countdown continues, the excitement is on overload.
And since the rain has stopped until later, we are definitely wearing our coat and gloves and planning a nice neighborhood walk.
But first, a morning breakfast, lots of music and of course sipping hot coffee next to the glowing Christmas tree while Riley is tucked-in his bed nearby.
It’s a wonderful morning!
Yesterday’s rainy day gave me the perfect opportunity to stay mostly inside all comfy and cozy. We were able to sit out on the patio some and the fresh air in December is the best.
The holiday season is full of joy and hope for the new year. And yet, there are some special people in mine and probably your family that are not here this Christmas.
I have some yearly rituals that I choose in remembrance of my mother, father and others who are not here. When I first lost my parents, (many years ago), I use to wish that Heaven had visiting hours. And now I know, I still have their spirit here with me and more importantly inside of me. And yes, I still asked them for assistance and opinions.
So although it can be overwhelming and melancholy when our love ones are no longer here to touch, hug and kiss them directly, I know they remain a part of me (us).
As the count down continues I hope the joy and hope of the season fills your heart and home.
Fa lala lalalala Friday!
Little Riley in the snow!
