Good Morning y’all,

It is Saturday and another great fall day has shown up for us here in Dallas.  But no matter where you are, kiss your family, hug your family, call your family, text your family. Bring sunshine and warmth to your loved ones…….Family is what matters.

If you’ve been reading my posts, then you know I am part of a large family!! Whether you are from a large family or a small one, share love and kindness with them today. Some of you may live close to your family, some of you may not………and you know what…….never ever let mileage be the reason you are not spreading love and warming the souls of your family.

Oh sure…….we all have issues to deal with…….what family doesn’t………but You Are Family. Now I can tell you that there were times when I did not always stay in touch with family…….oh yeah…..some of you may be saying the same thing…….and I always thought I had good excuses……. I am too busy at work, I am too busy with my own household, they live out-of-town, they live out-of-state, why don’t they call me……the  list could go on and on……….

Now don’t beat yourself up over it…….If you find yourself not calling, not texting, not visiting……now is the time to change it. Yeah…….it’s that simple.

I look at my family as one big Batch!!!

There is not a set number of pieces in the Batch. (it just keeps growing and growing and growing,  how sweet)! There is not a better piece than the other in the Batch! (It is a really good-looking batch) And at times,  maybe some pieces are warmer than others in the Batch! (Hey, some of us live in the South, some live the Midwest and some farther up North- brrrrrr). There are different sizes in the Batch…..(we do love to eat in my family, and I blame my mother, she loved to cook) teehee.  Man I wish I would’ve gotten that gene from her…….but hey,  I do like to bake,  especially during the winter months…..oh yeah….pumpkin bread is on my agenda this month!

Now back to my family Batch! It’s the best…..sometimes soft and gooey…..always hot and spicy. We text, we write, we call…………we hug, we kiss, we support, we are there for each other.

I am truly blessed to be part of my family…….I love them and I know they love me….what is better than that……

Now go hug your family, go kiss your family, go call your family, go text your family and go count your blessings. I know I do every single day.
