Friday Evening Post

What a beautiful evening it is.
A little pool time today and a little TexMex for dinner. Well of course I am rounding out the day with a little jack and coke to toast the evening and life …… pinch me!
Oh believe me, my little ‘bestie’ Riley, and I will share some patio time after the sun sets.
As I look over at him, I am reminded just how much joy this little guy brings to my life. And since he got his summer haircut this week, I see the joy in his eyes. He knows he is loved, this I know.
I remember our first night together as if it was yesterday.

Oh I get a little protective of my Riley, plus I think the jack and coke might be kicking in, teehee!
And as I hear the whispers of God, I know he sets me free and reminds me of my strengths, my identity and mostly of his love that resides in me.
Everyday I get to be thankful for all that is …… in my life.
Thank you, Lord!

The sky is turning dark which means it’s time to enjoy a little patio time and witness the wonders of God above.
Oh, I love me mornings before the sun rises and yet evenings when all is dark, quiet and at peace …… He unleashes His power and touches my soul.
All things are possible,
through Him.
