I am so glad that I am home and get to watch all the Inauguration events today on TV for our 47th President, Donald Trump.
Let’s be clear, I will not discuss my political beliefs here, (if you know me, then you know), but this is a historic day and I love all the ‘pageantry’ of it. The White House and the surrounding snow looks quite majestic. And Cold!

No matter who you voted for, we now have a new leader in the White House and it’s a day to be celebrated.
I will say, this is a comeback for the books!
I will look forward. Let’s not discuss (what should have been), let’s stay focused on the future.
Because there is way too much to do as we continue to return our country as the world leader we’ve been known for.
So yeah, that’s my political statement of the day! Ha!

And for us in Texas, yep …… darn cold here too.
We slept in this morning but that wind brings tears to my eyes. And not happy tears. But TBT, no matter what, I am still enjoying our walks. This morning, there were a few other dog walkers out there with us. And one guy had shorts on. Now, c’mon …… that is just craziness. Our temp was 19 and who knows what with the wind chill.
But back inside, coffee cup in hand, Eddie by my side and the TV will be on all morning.
Today is a historic day, let’s rejoice in it!
