Happy December 1st.

Wow, if today is a sign of what’s in store this month …… Hallelujah!
Yeah, a little nippy this morning, it is December, but the rain is long gone and the sun is a welcome friend, for sure.
So we wait a little bit for our morning walk, not for Riley but for this o’l girl. Hey, more time to sip coffee and enjoy breakfast looking at our Christmas tree all lit up!
Plus, since we stayed up a smidge past our bedtime last night to watch the Cowboys win …… oh my that sounds so good – Another Cowboy Win!
Yeah, it’s gonna be a tough month for the Boys but the second half of the game last night was awesome except those (darn) penalties, they were excessive. But at least they get extra time off and hopefully will refocus.

You know, December usually starts my hibernation mode and I got a feeling, it’s gonna be even more fun this year.
It’s so nice to have the doors open, sun warming us as we listen to music and take in the crispness of the month. A little time on the patio rocking in the sun makes me forget it’s December.
So grateful!

Oh, but when the sun goes down …… that is our sign to let the cozy begin!
Why no, I never get tired of looking at the Christmas tree.
(Until December 26th, then I am, ugh – it’s got to go!)

And maybe it’s me, but the other day I was saying to a friend that there seems to be so much to watch on TV this winter. I don’t remember watching so much in years past. I have watched some old Holiday movies that I haven’t seen in a very long time and I still have so many series that I am hooked on.  So on our rainy days, it’s nice to have so many choices!
Of course my daily music time is alive and well. And at least one dance with Riley. One is about all I can handle;  is that his winter coat or is it my darn congestion that had me gasping for air, teehee!
Either way, it’s all too fun!
There is a rhythm this month that is unlike others.

And me and my little drummer boy are loving it!
Last night’s game got me excited and I promised myself it’s not stopping.
There is so much goodness in my heart and in my home that fills my soul. I have so so many wonderful memories of this season and they always seem to provide me with the hope and joy that sustains me.
Plus, sometimes you must remember, that if it doesn’t bring you joy, peace and positive energy, then stop engaging in it! (Sometimes we can make it so complicated).
Plus remember this; alpha females do not run in a pack. She is often alone. Keeps her circle small. Knows her power and can work in silence. BOOM!

Aging; it is really a beautiful thing. More time to listen, take it all in and stay in my zone!
Yep, my life is framed in faith.
