Hooray Thursday

A new day is upon me with new strength and thoughts. Life is way too short and I am not afraid to change my priorities. I believe in focusing on what matters.
Morning breakfast, (yum yum),  a walk with Riley and then a walk all by myself …… now what a way to start Hooray Thursday.
Of course there is a little extra skip in my step today, ahem …… well with high winds whipping all around us, I guess I can’t take all the credit!.

Yep, the winds are whipping up today and yet I find myself pulled even more at the peace and simplicity of life. The grass is winter brown and yet many of my ferns are glowing green. I am still tasting the sweet lemons from my harvest. The mint plant reminds me of warmer months in the not too far distant.
And the sun is so bright and warm to my face. Sometimes in the wind, we find our new direction!
My roots are planted firmly and deep in God and the wind helps me adjust my vision.

For some silence terrifies them …… for me, it’s the absence of drama.
Silence and nature, oh the Love of God.
I love the silence of the day.
Wait,  listen, it’s the sound of my heartbeat, pumping to the beat of; Life!
