Let’s Leap!

One last chilly day before we leap into March.
(It’s Texas: the coats and gloves may be needed again, eek)
A little washing from the heavens soaking our trees and yards as they get ready to shed the winter essence and welcome Spring soon.
A little blast of cooler temps to make it a cozy day.
An extra day to change things up.
An extra day to thank God and remind me to trust Him today and every day.
An extra day for prayers and meditation, Bonus!

‘To everything there is a season’.
This entire Ecclesiastes passage has always been a favorite for me.

So yeah, today reminds me to take time to reflect on my priorities, make adjustments as needed, and seek God’s guidance.
The passing of time and how we use it …… is significant, and I will not let this extra day go by without knowing that the safest place to be …… is in the center of God’s will.

So as the raindrops start to move out and the sky is turning brighter, I will continue to enjoy this cozy leap day and (God willing) be back tomorrow as we welcome in the first day of March!
