Oh happy Wednesday y’all!

We have Liquid Sunshine today.

(And no, the old girl is not sipping mimosas …… well not yet, wink wink)

We had a rumbling tumbling night and morning for sure.

There is just something about the rain that makes me want to dance. Although, I am not so sure Riley shares my enthusiasm for it today, teehee.

Isn’t it ironic that with senior citizenship, it brings so much more appreciation for EVERYTHING!

oh yeah, back to this rainy day ……

Rain makes things grow. You know …… nature and nurture …… they go hand-in-hand.

My lemon tree sisters are soaking it up …… yep,  I have bought a second lemon tree. Well the first was gifted to me and this one I gifted myself. Oh my, can’t wait for these beauties to bear lemons later this year.

I was telling my sister the other day, I may be grumbling mumbling to myself, come winter when I will need to bring these beauties in and out for a few months, so, I have already warned my back and asked for forgiveness and please provide me the strength I will need. And somehow I know I will have both, booyah!

Rain really does awaken my soul and inspires me to admire the beauty of nature.

I was trying to convince Riley we can practice our dancing today and come sunshine later we will be even better at it …… I don’t think he was buying that either!  Stubbornness runs deep with this one, HA!

But these rains are bringing rainbows and in the end I know that the ultimate purpose of life is color, beauty and love!

And today’s rains doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a beautiful day.

So let the rain shower my spirit and water my soul. Without rain there would be no life.  No two drops are the same …… just like us! Special and unique.
