Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve
I love this day; full of coziness and the anticipation that it brings.
And no matter how young or ‘older’ we are, it’s special.
Everyone has their traditions, and over the years we get to update them. In this year of 2020, we have been required to change-up our traditions and yet I am so thankful that I have some family to share Christmas with this year. (Our little bubble)
For some, the holidays are a painful reminder of the ones we have lost. It can feel intrusive and even absurd to celebrate when your heart is missing a loved one. Yet, the holidays have to be observed in order to move forward and heal.
(I have special prayers for my momma and pappa. I feel their spirit with me).
Over the next two days, we will join our church for on-line services, listen to Christmas music, share some great food, play games, share some more food, walk through the neighborhood with our fur babies, share some more food, watch a little football, maybe squeeze in a nap,
and ……
share some more food.
My home has been blessed with love and laughter.
Here are a few pics that keeps us smiling all day long!
