Monday Memories- January

Monday Memories – January
It’s a new day and thank goodness because that horrible Cowboys game yesterday left many of us so empty.  I was one who had to switch the channel before the game was over. Poor fans who paid to go watch them, they deserve a refund.
I will not devote much time on it because frankly they do not deserve it.

Monday Memories are starting.
We woke up to a snow covered yard, just enough to graze our lawns. Mighty pretty but bitter cold. Riley was in and out and can’t say I blame him.
After a healthy warm breakfast and a generous cup of coffee the sun has appeared!
New mercy’s every morning!
Actually, my last looksie outside last night, I saw that snow flakes were just getting started. No freezing rain for us, thankfully.
It is quite a beautiful day.
Cold and yet blue skies and the sun above.

So much clarity on a day like today.
So thankful for the finger prints of God.

I know Riley wants to go for a walk (and so do I) but with our temps not going above freezing until Wednesday, our walks must be on hold. I must protect my little fur baby.
I miss them too, but soon little boy.
One thing that is not on hold; music. So yeah, the dancing is still happening.
Plus, I am doing a little organizing today. I rearranged a room yesterday and am very happy wIth it. Just a slight moving of furniture and well let’s just say, Wow!
Oh we are just getting started with Monday Memories.
It’s a new day!
I have a new dinner recipe to try later. New movies to watch. A new book to start. New music to listen to. And believe it or not some new football games to watch. No way the Cowboys are stealing the joy of watching the rest of the playoffs and Super Bowl from me.
It’s a beautiful cosy day at home and one for the memory book, for sure!
Stay Safe, Stay Well.
Namasté.
