Monday Morning Glory

Monday Morning Glory!

Oh I know, many will Cyber Monday shop all day …… after all, there are some great sales going on and it’s a great way to ‘wrap-up’ your holiday shopping for sure.
I just love getting up and turning on the Christmas tree lights. The winter holidays always is a favorite of mine.
Tomorrow is December 1st, oh my!
Life is still coloring my world, it’s full of gold, white and red with sprinkles …… oh yes, lots and lots of sprinkles.
Grateful, always always.
Many this year are living troubled lives that can easily overwhelm. And we have all been touched by the current situation of our precious world and yet no matter how bad circumstances may be, I know that I will remain grateful. I know that as long as I choose to be grateful, it brings light into my life and pushes me to keep going and count my blessings.
I believe having a positive outlook is a choice.
Do I ever have negative thoughts, ahem …… of course. I am human, well some may think differently, teehee.
I have lived to be in my 60’s, (and definitely thank God everyday) so of course I have had negative thoughts. Ever since I can remember, I have prayed and believe that God has always been by my side. Was the road always clear and smooth …… ahem, heck no.
And then I am reminded that I can spend precious time cursing about the situation,  feeling sorry for myself and worrying about things that may happen instead of using the time to appreciate all the things I do have, no matter how small they may be.
There is always something to be grateful for.
I will not let age change me, I will change the way I age. I may have a few more aches and pains, I may carry a few more pounds, I may not see as clearly as before …… oh, but my heart is filled with love.
I will not wait for the perfect morning, I make it perfect!
Riley by my side, hot coffee to sip, heater cranked up and sparkles lighting a fire in my soul.
Monday Morning Glory, all day long!
I BELIEVE.
I am confident in who I am. I believe in what I think; I become,
what I feel; I will attract
and
what I imagine; I will create.
I have learned that I can eat all the right food, lift all the weights, buy all the things, take all the trips and yet if I do not rest my soul in Jesus, I will never find peace and purpose.
Spirituality …… is simply my way of life.
Gratitude is an expression and a message of thanks. It is not ignoring the truth of the situation. It’s accepting the trials and tribulations of life but always remembering there are things in my life to be grateful for.

Blessings from our home to yours.
