Morning Post, January 1, 2025. 
Hip Hop Hooray! 
(yes, I feel hoppy today).
Waking up to a bright sunny but chilly morning is a beautiful way to embark on this new year. Nothing but positive vibes around here. 
A new year leads us to reflection, renewal and recommitment. And yes feeling of Gods love in new and powerful ways has started. 
What’s this …… 
it’s my new ‘prayer’ chair and sitting in it each morning with hot fresh brewed coffee and of course Eddie laying nearby is one of my new recommitments that has already brought me so much joy and peace. 
When you can look around at your surroundings and know that no matter what happens, our home is full of love, joy and peace. 
My eyes are wide open. I know who and what belongs in my life. We must measure actions not just words. 
And yes coming from me who loves to read and write, but I speak from my heart. My garden hasn’t really gotten smaller because my garden is all around me and resides in my heart and soul. I have just reestablish the boundaries of who and what is allowed in. 

A new year; a new beginning and blessings for a fruitful and faith-filled year has commenced!  
Let go of the past and embrace the future. 
So yeah, I told you …… only positive vibes emanating from me. 
Get use to it …… we got a whole new year ahead. 
And I am going to try lots of new things. New recipes to share, new adventures and experiences and of course my Eddie cam will be capturing most of it! 
And of course some old recipes that just won’t retire. Like my pumpkin bread, oh yeah …… it’s happening today! 
I’ve been waiting and today is the perfect day for a little baking. 
I hope you enjoy this day. 
I am forever grateful to you my Lord for new beginnings. Help me step boldly into the new things you have for me. Amen.
