National Coffee Day, oh my!

This day couldn’t have come on a more glorious day here in Texas. We are so fortunate to have much cooler evenings and much much cooler days. Our warm days are not gone just yet, but to sit outside in the mornings with blue skies and a definite chill in the air ……

I am not sure how productive I will be today, teehee!
Of course I have some Pumpkin Spice coffee, it’s almost October people.
Coffee is pure pleasure to me. Mornings sipping it with Riley by my side always reminds me to savor the moment, quiet and calmness all around, (though I do love the chirping of birds) singing to us. Sometimes I read my favorite bible verses while other times I save that for later.
Sometimes I go for my walk and other times I do not.
I most definitely allow myself to be melted and re-formed, over and over. I focus on the beauty all around me. Oh it’s all there …… the skies whether they are grey and bringing rain to feed the earth or bright bright blue that seems to go on and on and on. This is one of the most beautiful times of the year, the summer plants start to hibernate while the fall ones are just waking up.
And yes, we get to throw in a pumpkin or two!

A day on the patio with nothing on the agenda, Booyah!
Life is pure treasure.
And I thank God everyday.
