National Siblings Day

Oh my ….

We woke up to a glorious sunny day and it’s National Siblings Day too ……. thank you God.

What a day so far …… a little gym time and breakfast with my sister!

Never too old ……

as we grab our walking cane when leaving the gym …… HA!

Did you know ……

  • 89% of Americans have a sibling(s)
  • 19% of Americans say they are different from their sibling(s)

DNA is so Cool ……

When you think about it, the genetic material that went into making you also made your siblings. You share similarities at a cellular and DNA level. That’s like, a miracle — and totally cool.

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.”

Older siblings – “the only people who will pick on you for their own entertainment and beat up anyone else who tries.”

❤️

Younger  sibling – “ usually the most good looking and smartest”

❤️

Middle sibling – “independent, mentally tough, loyal and trustworthy”

❤️

But seriously, it’s such a wonderful thing that we get to share memories of growing up together. Sometimes our memory will play tricks on us, as we try to remember certain events from the past, each one of us filling in the blanks for the other and then we all laugh to tears.

We can thank our parents for each other. Growing up in a home with sisters was definitely like having your own squad,

yep ……

‘sister squad’ since birth!

❤️❤️

Oh yes, life is so grand.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7

Blessings from our home to yours.

Co-pilot, Riley
the Scottie
