Oh what a gorgeous Snow day!
Yep, we woke up to a different world. Well luckily we actually woke up and as we were walking back from our first walk, the snow which was mainly ice crystals started dropping down on us. Oh what a good rain coat does for you!
Anyhoo, after breakfast for Eddie and me we ventured out for our second walk to what is becoming a winter wonderland!
So yeah, I just love it.
There is hardly any wind, just lots of big big snowflakes.
As we are back inside, the blinds are raised and I can sit here for hours watching the snow fall. And it looks like it might be hours.
I think we might be getting a smidge more than was predicted.

Oh the kids are probably so happy, they get to build snow girls and create snow angels.
I still have the child-like feeling towards snow. I hope I never get the adult hardness that happens to many. And yes, even in Texas there have been many times that power went out and days of being shut in almost sent me over the edge, worried about pipes freezing and wearing so many layers of clothing that we all looked as if we swallowed a whole cow!
But for today, I hope we all remain safe and do not experience any of the harshness of this storm.
Of course Eddie and I will need to go outside some. By what I saw earlier, he is one happy go lucky Scottie and a little snow has not dampened his enthusiasm.
I too will have this attitude.
The love of life resides here!
Yes, it’s warm and cosy inside. So a few walks outside only makes me more grateful for having a place we call home and spending the day with my sweet little Eddie.
They say by Saturday, we will be back in the 40’s.
So yeah, enjoy what has been given to us and never lose sight of what is going on here and now.

I know how blessed we are right now in Texas. There is a raging fire in California that has taken so much. There is lots of snow in the north and east. And unfortunately for many, the current snow storm we are getting may turn into an ice nightmare for many.
And for those that must go to work or be outdoors, be safe and take it slow and steady.
Namasté.
