Saturday Numinous
Waking up a smidge earlier this morning and not a single person around for our first walk of the day.
Oh, but the presence of God was most certainly felt.
The maker of heaven and earth!
It’s another ‘pinch’ me kind of day that is unfolding.
I love this period of life. I am so happy to have Eddie as my loyal companion.
When a dog comes into your life, he becomes part of your soul. He brings out the best in you.
I’ve said it so many times that I can sit and watch Eddie sleep and it fills my heart with joy.
I am not his owner, I am his ‘Kahu’.
I will protect him, not because he is my property, nope, but because he is part of my soul.
Eddie is never too busy for hugs, kisses and attention. He comforts me and I comfort him.
I will most definitely change my plans for him.

On an early Saturday morning before most people are up, the world is quiet and peaceful.
Silence is a great way to get close to our Savior.
No thoughts or worries- only a loving and gentle approach to start the day.
God is good.

My Lord is my Shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters. (Psalms 23.1).
I see the glimmers! Yep, sparks of joy everywhere. Oh they are here and everywhere.
Joy doesn’t have to be loud.
And you know, we could all find a thousand reasons to hate life and be made at the world OR, we could find a thousand reasons to love life and be happy – choose wisely!
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
So as the morning continues on, Eddie and I will play, listen to music, dance, take naps and not take for granted this glorious day we get to experience.
The outside temps may soar up to 100, but inside it’s always a nice cool 72.
We will give thanks and love each other.
