Saturday OLEILU.
Talk about a great Saturday!
We woke up in between rain showers, (yay) so our first walk this morning was a bit wet but felt pretty darn nice. My first cup of Java out on the balcony and back out for another walk before the rain started up again.
I woke up not remembering what day it was …… for some reason I thought it was Tuesday. (Definitely having a Blursday moment, Ha!) Not sure why but once I realized it was Saturday I knew it was going to be a PJ’s and lazy kinda morning.
And so it was.
A nice breakfast and more rain coming down reminded me just how happy I am that all my house cleaning and laundry was done yesterday. Nothing on the agenda except cosy time with Eddie, watching some football and probably snacking way too much!
And of course a little nap because the Texas Longhorns were losing and that game put me to sleep.
An afternoon cup of Java and then a walk with Eddie. Pulled out one of my umbrellas since there was still a bit of drizzle hanging around.
☔️
Yesterday, I lied.
I thought I was going to wait until after Labor Day this weekend to decorate for Fall ……oops.
Walking around and seeing others already pulling out their decor, got me inspired. Hey the season isn’t that long. Two months and then it’s the next holiday!
So fun!
So yeah, now it’s Saturday OLEILU.
I love it when it’s storming outside and there are no storms inside.
A quiet peaceful day is the bomb!
‘Kindness is my go-to. But Fuck off is my wing man.’
Hey, I fall somewhere on the spectrum between Proverbs 31 and Tupac.
Whats a girl do to?
Changing my environment – changes everything!
I am so happy meeting new people, going to new places and leaning in to new perspectives.
And I love reading all different kinds of books.
And I definitely never start a day without reading my Bible, saying my prayers and reading positive affirmations.
Here are some of my favorite quotes:
‘I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all’ CoCo Chanel.
‘Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots’ Nishan Panwar.
’Don’t find fault, find a remedy: Anyone can complain.’ Henry Ford.
‘Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have 24-hour days.’ Zig Ziglar.
‘The purpose of our lives, is to be happy’. Dalai Lama.
So on this rainy cooler end of August day, I wish you a happy weekend and much love.
Namasté.
