Saturday Salutations

Saturday Salutations!

I am not sure I can contain my joy today.
Another gorgeous day;  heaven on earth …… for sure.
Oh, I believe.

Because there has been way too much proof in my life to doubt.
🧡
Waking up to the most cutest, kindest little Scottie brings nothing but love to my life.
We had a little fire outside last night (the first of the season) and it was puurrfect!
We settle into a peaceful Saturday morning and give thanks.
I know just how special this life is.
You know I am not one to look back. Oh I do have some of the most joyous memories from my childhood to now and they carry me, no doubt.
I believe in picking the path that gives me the most light. It’s building life patterns that bring the abundance of life front and center. It’s knowing that taking care of myself is not a job that is left to anyone but me.
And it’s not about over indulging (although a little afternoon jack and coke) while listening to music on a beautiful Saturday. It happens!
But it’s knowing that embracing solitude and stillness is my salutation to myself. I will take responsibility for my own happiness and my healing.
🧡
Hey like I have said, stuff happens. And not always pleasant things. And yet, I will take the steps necessary to achieve my joy. I am not a big procrastinator. I would rather get any unpleasant chores out of the way. You know, become my own hero!
Our minds are so strong. It can leave you remembering old negative memories that will consume your day, if you let it. And it can also be used to break those old habits of negative talk and set a new path for yourself.
It will then become the only way you can think about things. So yeah, stuff happens and yet I know that how I deal with it, it’s what gives me peace. Perfect Peace!
Sometimes it might feel like chasing the impossible. And it might just be signs to manage the things I do have control of.
I know sometimes I write it like it’s so easy. It may not be at first and yet once you start the transformation, you will refuse to go back to any negative self talk, negative friends, negative environments.
I will not go back!
I am worth the fight and the devil is not going to win …… ever.

Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening!
It’s Salutation Saturday!

Dear God, thank you for this day. I know I am not on this path alone. Amen.
