Happy Saturday y’all!
I woke up with music in my heart and my little Riley by my side, oh my, life is so grand!
There are some days when I just can’t stop listening to music, and today is one of those days. There is nothing sweeter than morning coffee and music. On the way out to lunch with my sister, yep we were jamin to music. Back home, watching Texas lose to Oklahoma (grrrrrrrr), music playing in the background. Sipping afternoon coffee and Bailey’s (yum yum), yep music playing. As I am watching Georgia kick Bama so far (yippeee), my music is playing.
I am writing this post, yep …… music fills the room! I have not switched over to Christmas music quite yet, but it’s a comin soon!
Of course I had to grab Riley earlier and dance to at least one song, he was pretty cozy in his new Christmas blanket so I don’t think he really appreciated it much …… thank goodness he is such a good sport!
What a glorious December 1st for us.
We had a little bumpy nite …… sometimes my little guy gets the reverse sneeze that abruptly awakens him and me. Once we get settled back in, he wakes up full of energy. He had a little more giddy up than me at first, hence, the coffee and music, teehee.
Actually music is a big part of my daily life. I really do not remember a day that I have not listen to music and sometimes it carries through to the evening.
I grew up with music in our home, so it is and always will be part of my soul. Music is my flow …… you know, flow-state. It brings an overwhelming feeling of happiness and joy, yep living in the now, booyah!
Okay, sometimes a little Bailey’s or some wine might add a little oomph to my giddy up too!
It’s Saturday Sing Along y’all, and yep it has runneth over to the early evening!
And yes there are moments when Riley gives me that ‘your a little pitchy mommy’ face …… and that’s when I usually scoop him up and we dance around one more time.
Hey, if only the birds outside that sounded good sang, it sure would be awfully quiet.
So, what are you waiting on ……. turn the music up, sing along and dance. Show up for Yourself!
I hope for you an evening full of music.
Blessings from our home to yours.
