Soulful Saturday

Oh what is it about a quiet relaxing Saturday.
As you know, my home is the safest place for me to simply …… just be!
No matter if the sun is shining or the puffy clouds have taken over, morning coffee on the patio is priceless.
I have lived in many different homes and I do whatever I can to make them cozy and peaceful. No matter the size or location, that never dictated the love, care and hospitality that I find is needed to live a joyful life. Some may think it’s superficial. Nope, not me. Because, I believe it’s important what we fill and put in our atmosphere.
There really is a reason for all the seasons! I embrace them all and set my intentions which is not the same as expecting perfection. Although I will admit, I do get inspiration from magazines and blogs about decorating. And then apply them to my own rhythm.
Now that nourishes my soul!
From the simple acts of making a single cup of coffee and sitting in the rocker while waiting on the birds to appear to then making avocado toast and morning prayer time are all routines that are part of today’s Soulful Saturday.
Oh yeah, my cup runneth over!
Some days are filled with rock and roll and others are quiet and full of reflections.
Doesn’t matter which one because it’s always home sweet home.
I will always find the beauty that is right in front of me and savor the ordinary moments and the unique rhythms of our home and rituals we create for each season.
