Sunday Blessings

It’s Sunday!!

Finishing a fabulous week, even though I have to admit the 4th left me a little full of BBQ, but oh so yummy!

Watching Macy’s concert and fireworks show is still a fav for me.

We are starting the week with the guidance of the Holy Spirit for sure.

Do you ever smile so much that your jaws hurt …… well I do.

And truth be told, Riley loves getting up early …… way before the first birds and squirrels have made their appearance. Just the sun rising and blue skies above. Oh I catch him smiling too.

Oh no, it’s not a fairy tale bliss, it’s real life. Giving thanks each morning for the honor of seeing another day and witnessing the divine.

The overall conviction that comes upon me.

The presence of the Holy Spirit seeks permission to be the Lord of my life.  The Holy Spirit desires to know me and release all the burdens and stress from my soul.

I use to get embarrassed because I cry in church, maybe not every Sunday, but often. Well, I am not embarrassed no more!

My crying is not negative and sad emotions.  My crying in the presence of the Holy Spirit is one of joy, relief, and acknowledgement of God. When I cry in the presence of the Holy Spirit, all the stress, fears and doubts vanish and I am left with blissful peace.

Crying in the presence of the Holy Spirit is not negative in any way.  We all have so many emotions that flood our soul.  But in the presence of the Holy Spirit, all that negativity in life is washed away. My emotions become flooded with peace and joy.   The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

WHOA,

and this is a small sample of heaven …… that comes to us, here on earth.

See, my jaws are sore from smiling!

I wish you overflowing smiles today and all week long.

Co-pilot, Riley
the Scottie
