Look Up Up Up,
It’s Sunday night eye candy tonight!
Or, better known as a total lunar eclipse.
For those of us in Texas, the show will start around 10:40 (ish) with totality happening an hour later, oh my!
We will have two other super moons this year, but neither will be a blood super moon. Which means that tonight it will bigger, brighter and yep, red/orange in appearance.
Tonight’s moon is also called the wolf moon for our January full moon.
Ready Set Howl
Our Moon will pass behind the earth, into the planet’s shadow. Rather than reflecting the light from the sun, the moon will be covered by the Earth’s shadow.
Thus, the moon will appear closer and brighter!
Take a nap today, drink some coffee,
and grab your blanket tonight,
Look UP UP UP!
