Sunday Soar
Starting with my morning wake-up bark at 6:20 this morning. Sometimes my first thought is, let’s sleep in. And quickly I remind myself how wonderful it is to get another new day!
I also love it when there are no other dog walkers out. We get to see the sunrise starting to appear in the distance. The earth is somewhat still and quiet. This morning a few ducks circled over head before landing in the pond and Mr. Crane was up early too! But besides that, we had the morning all to ourselves.
Quite lovely, indeed.
A slight chill in the air but definitely soooooo nice for our first February weekend. I have a new habit of starting my coffee before we go out so once we return the smell of fresh brew is wafting throughout the house.
You know – less is more unless it’s coffee!
It seems like the morning still goes by quickly no matter what time we get up. My first cup, time for my breakfast and another cup of coffee before we venture out again. A lot of days, by the time we go out again, there are other ppl out walking, but not today. Hey, it’s Sunday, sleep in everyone!
I didn’t watch church service this morning (will watch it later), we had a date with the dog park!
Nothing better than some time for Eddie to run around barking and playing fetch. This little boy is kinda crazy about playing with the ball. I have to make him rest a bit because he wants to go on and on and on.
And yeah, it’s February but our temps are near 80!
After some time at the park, we are back home. I feed Eddie his lunch and soon he is conked out in his townhouse.
So now it’s time for lunch at one of my favorite restaurants. Oh, I do love cooking but I so enjoy a nice meal out, some special drinks and of course dessert to go!
Sunday Soar continues.
It’s a beautiful day. The sunroof is open, music is playing and that springtime feeling is here. Heck yeah, I will enjoy it! I’m no fool, winter days will probably be back.
But for now, our balcony door is wide open, the wind chimes are singing and it’s definitely a shorts and tank top kind of afternoon!
Sunday Soar!
