Happy Saturday!

Today is definitely a Sunny Side-up kind of day.

And not just because our temps are soaring ….. and soaring ….. and soaring …..

Yep, it’s summer in Texas!

It’s just that, well you know me …… rose color glasses and all, teehee.

I won’t apologize for being happy and feeling joy down to my core. Sure, I have had grief and sadness. When you are blessed to live as long as I have …… well …… you will experience loss.

But, there is one thing that I have always been fortunate to have, and that is a positive outlook on Life!

I choose to relish the joyful times. That is what defines me. My struggles and disappointments may have created a few marks but my strength and love for life are the tattoos that I wear proudly.

Last night as we enjoyed some wine and great music, I was reminded that my faith keeps me grounded. It’s funny when you open your heart and your life to God, you lose all fear. I am deeply rooted in peace, love and kindness, it really sets my soul on fire.

I will not allow outside noise disturb my happiness.

It’s called RESPECT.

Here’s how I do it ……

Know yourself, Love yourself and Be yourself!

Now that is called TRUE HUMILITY.

I invest my energy on creating a peaceful and grounded life.

My home is my haven. It’s a place where I show God how grateful I am for all his blessings.

Have I left dirty dishes in the sink, well of course, (but not often) …… because I want to take care of the many gifts he has given.

I woke up today with that little wet nose nudging me …… actually this morning it was right in my face …..

 yep, time to get up!
