Thankful Thursday!

If you know me …… then you know that I am thankful and ever so grateful each and everyday and yet, sometimes I just want to scream it out loud so y’all can hear it.

The truth ……

I know that I have this one and only life to live and I give my overwhelming love to the only one who makes it possible.

Jesus.

To the one I love ……
Who never stops fighting for me ……. who’s words are promises that He keeps? It’s an amazing life when you know that you need fear no more.  Because I know He is always fighting for me, when I feel as if I can’t fight anymore. His hands are always there holding me, guiding me and encouraging me.

Sometimes I feel that I just can’t explain it well enough. Then I remember …… I do not need to even try.
There is something about feeling the power of the Holy Spirit inside and you just know , that everything will be alright!

And yes, there are times when I feel like I have gone too far,
but He guides me all the way back home.
Our home is a safe and peaceful place where we laugh, cry and share the many blessings He has provided.
Thankful.

My day starts with prayers, gratitude and praising God and ends exactly the same. The power that I feel inside is a very personal gift from God. This I know! And the best part …… (drum roll)

He gives it freely to all of us.

From the little girl growing up in Iowa to the older girl who calls Texas home for now! Ever since my feet touched Texas, I knew it was where He wanted me to be. My heart feels free, my feet dance, my soul is aligned.

Yeah, some may call me unusual. Oh I hope so!
I have seen heaven and earth moved to make miracles happen.
The power and beauty of the form and the formlessness ……

When I go to my knees to pray …… the battle has just begun.
